Cowal has contrasting natural beauty, lying between Loch Fyne, Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde. Sailing and watersports on the Holy Loch and fishing or calm reflection at Loch Eck, a short drive away. Benmore Botanical Gardens will certainly be worth visiting at any time of year.  Argyll Forest Park, and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park await your exploration.  From Dunoon you can spend a day meandering single track roads to Tighnabruaich and back, venture north to Inveraray, or foot down on the M8 en-route to Stirling or Edinburgh …the choice is yours.
